BRAIN SCANS SHOW THAT THE PLEASURE CENTERS OF THE BRAIN "LIGHT UP" WHEN SUGAR IS EATEN. 


Eric Stice, PhD, a neuroscientist who has extensively studied sugar’s effects on the brain, says consuming highly palatable foods — like those containing high amounts of sugar — activates the same key reward regions of the brain that are triggered when a person does drugs like cocaine. Biologically this makes sense since, back in our hunting and gathering days, sugar was a rare and valuable source of energy. Back then, a strong reward response to sugar was beneficial since it sent us seeking more. This also explains how the human body has adapted to almost effortlessly convert sugar into fat.
IMPORTANT  TO KEEP IN MIND:High Carb foods, particularly those with a high index, set you up for wanting more and more.

Hypnosis, coupled with your desire to be free of the craving, can release you from the craving and constant feel of hunger. 

Typically a client who comes in for Sugar Cravings and/or binging will tell me at their follow up visit that they did not experience the craving the whole week. It can be amazing!

 While eating right and adding exercise are the two obvious options for losing weight and keeping in shape, you can also turn to the power of hypnosis to give you that extra boost to get started and maintain your resolution.

You are given no food plan – nor are you restricted by particular food items.   Hypnotherapy for weight management begins to change the way you think about food.   Perhaps this is best said by a client's response to her sessions:"The one thought that, to me, is most important is that this is not a diet.  You go on and off diets which is why they fail. This also isn't a life style change because I'm still eating everything I ate before. To me it is a Life Change and I am just approaching meals with a different attitude. It is because of the suggestions in the hypnotherapy and the release of some negativity that is causing this attitude change. A striking realization is that weight is not about the food; it's about your attitude toward food."

A BMI between 18 and 25 is regarded as "Normal", between 25 and 30 is classed as "Overweight" and a BMI between 30 and 40 is in the "Obese" range.
